    These are just some of the highlights from this week New Releases List.
    Not a big week for releases if you’re a hip hop or 2-step fan, but for
    everyone else there are tons of great records this week.

    Abstract/Downtempo/Leftfield: Dubby downtempo from Waldeck’s Dope Noir
    label by the Chin Chillaz, new Jung Collective 7" with a remix on the
    b-side from Plaid, new King of Woolworths double 10", debut CD from
    Norway’s Slowpho on Beatservice, a new EP taken from the latest "Black
    Coffee" compilation, "Brazilian Love Affair 3" on Far Out in this week
    on vinyl and CD, and some very nice compilation CDs called "Café
    Paradiso 2", "Lisboa Gare" & "Loungetime 3". Also an inexpensive sampler
    CD from Jazzland Records (home to Bugge Wesseltoft) called "Future Jazz
    >From Norway" is in this week. The last batch of Blue Note France
    compilations come in this week on CD. And new funk 45 7" singles this
    week from Daptone, Jazzman, Funk 45, Stark Reality, & Steppin’ Stone.
    And speaking of 7" singles, we have lots more copies of last week’s
    "Verve Hi-Fi 7" Boxset" for those that didn’t get one.

    Beats 'N' Breaks: Cool new instrumental hip hop 12" from DJ Krash
    Slaughta on new label Evil Genius, Whole Nine Yards new 12" with Dark
    Globe teaming up with Boy George, Mad Doctor X drops a host of
    instrumental jams that didn ’t make his last album, breakbeat remix of
    Prince’s "Kiss", and a super cheap re-issue of Botchit & Scarper’s
    "United Breaks Nation" double CD.

    Drum & Bass: Accidental Heroes 12" on Infrared (limited pressing of
    2,000 only), new Aquasky 12" on Sonix remixed by Simon Bassline Smith
    and Accidental Heroes, white label remix of Bubba Sparxx’s "Ugly", new
    Defunked 12" with tracks by Carlito (going solo on this one) & John B
    taken from the new Defunked mix CD, Soulful Behaviour also in stock this
    week, new DJ SS double 12", jazzy new 12" from Bluebox’s Insiders,
    Kabuki samples Vikter Duplaix’s vocals on the excellent new "Sex Drive"
    12", Missy Elliot’s latest import 12" features a house remix from the
    Bassment Jaxx, new Phoneheads 12" on Krush Grooves, new Q-Project 12" on
    Industry (with a new track from Accidental Heroes on the flip), new
    Subtitles 12" by Sinthetix, Solid State CD re-released at cheap price,
    new Narcotix 12" by Zoe H (and done with help from Solid State), & the
    latest compilation from our friends at Hospital Records, "Plastic
    Surgery 3" is in this week.

    Hip Hop: No big hip hop releases this week.

    House: New French house 12" from Chicagoan Braxton Holmes, Brix & Mortar
    single with a remix by DIY’s Schmoov, new Mantis 12" by Brooks, new Diz
    12" on Greenskeepers, FC Kahuna gets remixed by Swayzak on their new
    12", new Gene Farris "Big Doobie" 12" on Fluential, Classic drops a new
    12" by Induceve, white label house remix that mixes Ludacris’ "What’s
    Your Fantasy" with the music from Kylie Minogue’s "Can’t Get You Out Of
    My Head", new DIY 12" by Shawn Ward, nice 12" from Tutto Matto on Tummy
    Touch, & the latest Ministry Of Sound "Annual Spring" compilation CD.

    Nu Jazz/Broken Beat: New Neon Phusion 12" "It’s Another" on Laws Of
    Motion, new Precyz 12" remixed by Howie B on the always top notch Nylon
    label, new SK Radicals 12" on People with remix by Volcov, dope new 12"
    by Sasso called "Friday Night At Bido Lito’s", new 12" on Lupeca
    features some funky sounds from the Spaceboys vs. Laj & Quakerman, new
    Strike Boys 12" "Sundowner" on Stereo Deluxe, the Susumu Yakoto 12" with
    remixes by Bugz In Da Attic and Kyoto Jazz Massive is now repressed &
    back in stock, & more copies (hopefully not warped this time) of the
    Vaceo (Domu & Daniel Vacchio) single on Chili Funk (please reorder as we
    didn’t send any of last week’s warped copies out).

    2-Step/UK Garage: DBX’s "Let It Rock" is finally repressed & back in
    stock this week and Ed Case in disguise drops a new 12".

    Other: New issues of DJ Magazine (with Mob’s Beber & Tamara on the
    cover), Jockey Slut (FC Kahuna on the cover) and Wire (with Alice
    Coltrane on the cover).
