This album focusses on the folkloric sounds of Brazil. Papete is a famous
percussionist. The album is pretty down to earth, it's not your average
samba-batucada album, it features a lot old rhythms from the north-eastern
part of Brazil and afro-brazilian rhythms.
i think it is an interesting album if you want to learn more about brazilian
folklore and other influences than bossa nova or samba. For a percussionist
it is a must have..some amazing stuff with berimbaus can be found on it.
