Hey list, I been a lurker on the list since 1995, I must say that
the acid jazz list is one of my favorites and the recommendations
and input from all the listees has been a very important influence
in my life.
I been a music lover since I can remember, I can say that my life is lived
thru music and the list keeps my hunger to know all about good music
satisfied.
I really enjoy the postings from Cukipapa, Elson,Lars, Velancha (you all
know
who you are)they are very entertaining and informative, respect to you all.
Also the list is very important to me as I recently opened a record store in
my native Tijuana, Mexico. I can proudly say that all the nice music that I
get to know thru the list gets a mention when my clients ask for what's new
in the acid jazz - house - eclectic scene.
By the way please visit www.estereofonico.com we are uploading dj sets from
dj's from Mexico there are various styles of music but I hope you like it.
Saludos desde Mexico.
Paz.

i've been on this list since 1995. I rarely post and lately when I
have it's been for song ids.
This list has been a godsend for me. I don't listen to the radio and
rarely go out to clubs so ALL the music I'm exposed to is through
this list or from playing connect the dots. I value highly all of
your recommendations, and the playlists (I know some listees don't
like them). For example, If I see a song on multiple playlists, I
know it's something I should pick up.
I'm a little late, but I just got Domu's up + down because of someone's
post.
A fantastic record. However, Verve remixed just knocked it out of
constant rotation. Particularly, the mixes of summertime (ufo),
return to paradise (mark de clive-lowe), don't explain (dzihan &
kamien), and my absolute favorite, wait till you see him (de phazz).
