I hope this isn't too crass and promote-y for the list; I've been on it for many
many years (since almost the very beginning) and don't think there'll be
terrible objection for a very rare update of what's out from Astralwerks, where
I've recently taken charge of online and new media marketing.
If you do object, please feel free to email me directly at mrfliz@rcn.com.
Thanks,

OUT NOW ON ASTRALWERKS:
Gabin "Gabin"
http://www.astralwerks.com/gabin/
Fans of St. Germain, Nicola Conte, and the Hotel Costes series might be
interested in the debut album by the Italian group Gabin which has just received
its US on Astralwerks. Gabin is made up of Filippo Clary who has for years been
collecting mood-filled music for dance floors and chill-out lounges as one of
Rome's top DJ's together with Max Bottini's internationally
renowned career as jazz bassist for John Scofield, Billy Coghan, and De Dee
Bridgewater. Stephane Pompougnac has just included the edited version of the
Gabin "Doo Uap, Doo Uap, Doo Uap" 12" on his new Hotel Costes Vol 5 mix.
MIXER - "Classic sounds and styles are updated with a heady house touch, a lazy
lounge mood and technological flair, combining the old with the new for the
chilled set"

Miguel Migs "Colorful You"
http://www.astralwerks.com/migs/default.html
Miguel's debut album on Naked Music "Colorful You" builds on the strong vocals
and deep house tracks that he's best known for. But he also shows off another
side of his musical repertoire on the LP, including a selection of silky
downtempo, R&B-flavored cuts that make an ideal soundtrack for horizontal
excursions. Providing the vocals for Miguel's lyrics are Naked's Lisa Shaw (who
performs live with Miguel frequently), Jo Jo Hailey and LaGerald Norman.
Intended for home listening pleasure instead of dancefloor consumption,
"Colorful You" expands on Miguel's established sound while keeping his sumptuous
groove intact.
Cassius "Au Reve"
http://www.astralwerks.com/cassius/default.html
Long considered one of the cornerstones of the French musical explosion of the
late 90's alongside Daft Punk, Air and others, Cassius return with a
genre-bending album "Au Reve" featuring guests such as soul diva
Jocelyn Brown and Wu-Tang's Ghostface Killah.
"If Au Reve" doesn't move your body and soul, then you
don't have a pulse" - PAPER
Blue Six "Beautiful Tomorrow"
http://www.astralwerks.com/bluesix/default.html
The brainchild of New Yorker Jay Denes, producer extraordinaire and Naked Music
co-founder, "Beautiful Tomorrow" has steadily notched up amazing
sales and support from music lovers across the "dance music"
spectrum, be it house, r&b or soul. A mature album full of seductive beats,
amazing vocals and masterful composition, this is a recording that transcends
its usual audience.
