I know there are a few people on this list that are
into Brazilian music so I thought I forward this to
the list. It's a good show. Barbara has had John
Beltran and Zero dB as guests recently. And she plays
a mix of traditional music along with artists from
labels like Compost, Ubiquity, and so on.

[brazil-music] Karnak giveaway session, upcoming shows
Hi friends!
Don't forget to tune in to the first Fall edition of
BossaSuperNova tonight, 10 pm PST.
How about starting the quarter with your requests?
And...
How about some tickets to see Karnak as part of the
Eclectic Orange Festival in Long Beach, October 13th?
Karnak is a 'world-fusion' band from Brazil. They mix
genuine Brazilian music with the most exotic (and fun)
elements of world and pop music. I'll be playing music
from their self-titled album "karnak", mixing russian
opera and cordel, Scottish bagpipes and forro...
FUN!
Tune in to KUCI 88.9 fm or log on to www.kuci.org to
find how you can win these tickets and enjoy yourself
at the show.
Upcoming shows:
Susana Baca- 10/03 @ Knitting Factory, LA
Caetano Veloso- 10/27 @ Spreckles, San Diego (we'll
have giveaways soon!)

Katia Moraes & Sambaguru- 10/04 @ Sushine Brook's
Theatre (Oceanside, CA) .
