feelin' that list...the new j.dexter sounds real good...
still playing that fertile ground and speaking of...
i saw them live at sob's a couple of weeks ago in new york and it was
amazing. probably the best live band i've seen ever and i've seen quite a
few. they played most of the stuff from seasons change and some old tracks.
if you think navasha's voice sounds incredible on the tracks you should hear
her fill the room live. wow. she has amazing stage presence. i was very
moved. and with two percussionists (one on a set and the other playing
things like congas and tablas) and a brass section, you can imagine how
strong their performance was. they are a great source of inspiration for me.
the metaphors in their songs, her voice, the positivity...
don't miss them if you get the chance,
