Hello there Jazz cats!
Just to let you know:
Swell Session vs. Ernesto's:
Let me decide + remixes 12"
(HOWL1204)
Finally! It's on vinyl Š Release date was October 11th
This is probably the most wanted release so far from Hollow
Recordings. Since it's first appearance on Michael Ruttens
compilation - Tribes vol. 7 this track has been begged for to come on
vinyl and have during a period been an anthem at the west London
legendary co-op nights! Some say it will become a classic Š
Swell Session aka Stateless (Freerange) aka Andreas Saag (SLS) has
become one of the fastest growing stars on the scene. His first
releases on Hollow were received as one of the freshest new sounds to
come out from Sweden and was hailed by all of those who know. Tracks
like 'The music in her eyes' and 'I see through you' has found it's
way to some fifteen compilations so far. Currently he's working on
his debut album that will have mostly all new material.
Ernesto is Jonatan Backelie and apart from being part of the
fantastic collaboration with Swell Session he's also the man behind
the soulful and funky vocals on this release.
Also, we thought we'd give you some extra bonus remix tracks as well.
Pinku Vaaty has made one of the darkest, funkiest and fattest
electronica remixes to see the light of day!
Desha delivers a two part broken beat remix and teams up with a
lovely singer for some fine additional vocals.
Charted, played and liked by the likes of Gilles Peterson, Patrick
Forge, Michael Reinboth, Alan 'Cukipapa' Brown, Nik Weston, Dirk
Rumpff, Jason Palma, Les Gammas and many more Š
Thanks for your time,
Stefan Bede
