    Salaam,

Just a quick word to say:

1/ I'm djing @ SOB's tonight, before and after the Zuco 103 performance.

2/ If you have never seen Zuco 103, I highly suggest you attuned one of
their concerts during their North American Tour (dates below). I saw
them in Rotterdam last October and have to say it was one of the best
live musical experiences I was privileged to witness last year. They
combine Brazilian musics with all different forms of electronica,
performed by a 6-piece live band, including a beautiful female singer
whose star is rising. I've told all my friends about this one, it is a
    show not to be missed.

    Hope to see you tonight,

    Fabian

"Once again, Vieira turns in a stunning performance as she mixes
different languages and rhythmic phrases sounding similar to Zap Mama's
Marie Daulne with a Bebel Gilberto - like soft, sensual croon.
Meanwhile, Kruger and Schmid gracefully balance trip-hop textures,
traditional Brazilian melodies and house-music rhythms." - Time Out New
    York

On Tuesday, September 3 Zuco 103, Electronic Brazilian sensations, make
their New York City debut at S.O.B.'s. This performance marks the six
piece band's first tour of North America. While in New York Zuco 103
will perform songs from their Six Degrees / ZIriguiboom releases Tales
of High Fever (2002) and Outro Lado (2000.)

The Amsterdam based touring band is lead by Zuco 103 principals Lilian
Vieira on vocals, Stefan Schmid on keyboards/programming and Stefan
Kruger drums/programming. Rounding out the group are Lesley Kuhr on
bass, Claus Tofft on percussion and Dj Sjam on turntables.

Zuco 103 is taking Europe by storm and now its time for the U.S. to see
what its all about. Come see Zuco 103 blow the roof off of the S.O.B.'s
    on Tuesday, September 3.
