---- ADDRESS FOR MUSICAL SUBMISSIONS To jump right to the mailing address for musical submissions, please scroll toward the bottom of this circular for more information. ---- NEWS Tonight is Part Two of a look back at the sounds of Summer 2002, as we focus most of our attention on the great 12" singles played on the show. It's the Summer Quarter Rewind Special that's happening again this evening. If you've missed Part One (the albums), or just want to hear it again, you can hear the show online. See last week's playlist before for the link. This weekend, I'm out of SLO and will visit the Bay Area to check out a club night called pHUSION. It's a monthly that features Andrew Jervis from Ubiquity and Jonah Sharp (formerly known as Spacetime Continuum). I've seen Andrew spin, and he knows his selection. I've never seen Jonah, much less met him. But if his past works are any indication, then it should be promising. The highlight of the gig will be a DJ set performed by Chris and Neil...Zero dB. Yep, yep, gonna meet the boys as they do their thing for the people. It'll be interesting to hear what they dish out. I'll let you know of my assessments next week. I'm keeping things on the light side this week. Things have been very hectic, so I'm trimming some fat for now...but will bulk up next week. ---- REVIEWS I'm withholding this week's reviews as they are still works in progress. Reviews will return here next week with some new goodies to consider for your music collection. ---- VELANCHE'S SOUNDSCAPES FOR AUGUST 2002 (in no particular order) Note: Labels with country names are imports to the U.S. 1.
