    The Mercury Prize is sort of like all the Grammys rolled up into one.
    Imagine if they only gave out one grand prize each year. The voting body
    looks at all the releases for that year and then awards the prize (which
    includes a rather large cash prize, I think) to the one that they think
    contributed the most to the art of music making. Its a huge deal...
