+SunTzu Sound featured in local Seattle news+
SunTzu Sound was recently featured in the weekly newspaper
THE STRANGER. Here's a clip:
"SunTzu Sound has in a short time put together some excellent shows,
bringing in international broken beat, future jazz, downtempo, and
new-school funk and soul artists who probably otherwise wouldn't have given
Seattle a second thought"

(in no particular order)
1. Jazzanova/Bugz in the Attic Party: great people, vibes and music.
The best party of the conference.
2. Macy Grey - When I See You -Bugz in the Attic Remix
The tune of the week! Heard it over 5 times and it kept getting better.
3. Gilles Peterson playing air saxaphone during the Truby Trio DJ set.
4. Meeting the lovely Joy Jones. Watch out for this stunning vocalist.
She's working with Daz-I-Kue on her debut album!
5. Jazzy Jeff's DJ set at the Future party: Best DJ set of the week!
Had grown men crying and smiles on all the faces.
6. Capitol A live on the mic!! Him and Jazzanova treated us to
"The One-Tet" live! Unreal!
8. Passed out all of our t-shirts in less than an hour. It
was a treat watching Afronaught DJ while sporting our logo!
9. Party at Jazid with Julie Dexter, Bugz and Volcov. It was really
nice to chill at a small, word-of-mouth party after all the hoopla.
10. The blonde bartender at Goddess. Thanks for taking care of us!!!

+Truby Trio - Elevator Music (Compost Records)+
Got an advance of this in Miami. Heed my words:
this will be Compost's most successful album yet.
From start to finish, its the perfect summer soundtrack
and contains some of the hottest dancefloor bombs ever
released by the German label. Look out for tracks:
"New Music" and "Runnin" to tear up a dancefloor near you.
+Macy Grey - When I See You -Bugz in the Attic Remix (Sony Records)+
This was the hit of the conference for my crew. Dropped 4 times
at the Jazzanova/Bugz party and still killed the crowd. The Bugz
create the perfect r&b/pop/brokenbeat fusion which should rocket them
into the spotlight and expose them to a wider audience. Their time is now!
