Vibert has a new album, YosepH coming out September 23 on Warp. (LFO
also has a new album due out that day, and Plaid has one out in October
    - go Warp!) I think it's totally brilliant, twisted fun. Hard to get
off repeat on the iPod. :-)

other off-genre gems: Atmosphere Seven's Travels - hip hop album of
    this year? and the next?
                                         Plastikman Closer - paranoia will
destroy ya! baldy goes chia-pet, loses the specs, and speaks!

getting back to the 'acid jazz' topic, Ursula Rucker has Silver or Lead
on the way in October with her usual strong-as-fuck lyrics set to beats
by Jazzanova, 4hero, and King Britt. music for your feet and words for
    your conscience. yes yes.
