OK folks, if you can check your e-mail and you are in NYC, then I hope that
you can make this special OUTDOOR night time party. Although the George
Washington bridge probably won't (and shouldn't be) lit tonight you have to check out
the sights and vibes this mini oasis that's way up in Northern Manhattan.
Some things that make the trips worth it...

The summer breeze that will make you feel fine

The expansive outdoor space with a massive sound system
    Check www.turntablesonthehudson.com for pictures

    DJ's Nickodemus, Mariano, and myself

(if it matters) you don't even have to leave the party to smoke, you're
    already outside

    No RAIN

It has to be cooler than your apartment because you're not supposed to crank
    up your AC yet.

So call your friend with a car and like all of us here in New York....don't
waste any time getting back into the swing of things.  Come dance under the
    stars

That's my pitch...here's what Nickodemus sent out Wednesday when rain was our
    biggest concern (directions, location, treats):

Hello party people- Can you believe there is NO RAIN in the forecast for
this Friday?? I know it's only Wednesday, but this is probably the 1st time
this Summer we haven't looked ahead & been wondering how the weather was
    going to turn out.

On that note, you can expect a full-on swinging Turntables on the Hudson
event this Friday with Nickodemus, Mariano & Nappy G on percussion plus a
very special guest dj Qool Marv joining us.

Qool Marv has been bridging musical genres for years with his famous
Buttamilk mix tapes & his steady weekly dj appearances across the city &
the UK. He has a true sense of the Funk & we're happy to have him rock with
    us this week!

*This week we'll be breaking out our limited edition Turntables on the
Hudson t-shirts & new Vol 4 CD's. We will also have a bag check for all
those who don't want to worry about leaving there bags around while
dancing. (Special thanks to all those who ventured out last weekend & made
    last week's party beautiful!)

    :::::::::::Directions:::::::::::
All takes place at our weekly outdoor space on the Hudson River called the
"Tubby Hook Cafe." The location is Uptown, North of the GW Bridge on
Dyckman Street & literally ON THE HUDSON RIVER.

train runs express until 11PM). The 1 & 9 also go to Dyckman, walk 5 to 6
blocks West after exiting the Subway.

By car, take the West Side Hwy (Henry Hudson Pkwy) North

Make the first left after exiting the Hwy onto Henshaw Street, go down the
hill to the stop sign & make a left onto Dyckman Street. Proceed 1/2 block
    to the Tubby Hook cafe.
