---- Time is short, and so will be this circular. There's a bunch of nice new music in recent weeks that I've been collecting, and I'll review many of these releases in the next circular...hopefully next week, but it may be the following week. LAST WEEK'S SHOW ONLINE In case you haven't checked the web site, last Friday's show (August 15) is now online. Plenty of goodies for your listening pleasure filled with material that I haven't the chance to play earlier (due to lost mailings during my move) and some tasty new unreleased morsels. Check it... Audio: http://urbanlandscapesshow.com/shows/15Aug03.ram Playlist: http://urbanlandscapesshow.com/playlists/summer2003/15Aug03list.htm SHORT BROADCAST THIS EVENING...LONGER ONLINE SHOW THIS WEEKEND The live show tonight is going to be shorter than usual....only an hour. I've been called for DJ duty (see below), and I've decided to take advantage of it. But...I will have a two-hour online-only show available soon. Check the web site on Monday, and you should see the links. Remember that you can catch the special Gonky broadcast online, too. There's plenty of music and interviews with Andreas Saag, Ernesto, Mimi Terris, Stefan Bede, and Jol. Again, check the web site for more info. SHOW IS ABOUT TO TAKE A BREAK SOON To give everyone heads-up, Urban Landscapes will be taking a three-week hiatus after the last summer broadcast on Friday August 29. More details on that, and of future show plans, in the next mailer. SPINNING WAX @ THE FROG & PEACH (LOCAL EVENT) As I've mentioned earlier, I've been asked to do DJ duties this Friday evening. I'll be at the Frog & Peach downtown, so if you're so inclined feel free to drop by. I'll be there from 10:00pm-1:30am. And on the subject of dance events, we are concoting a planned monthly dance event here in SLO. We can't spill the beans just yet as details are being worked out, but the time will come soon when we'll share our excitement with the rest of you. Meanwhile, have a great weekend! ---- VELAHCHE'S SOUNDSCAPES FOR AUGUST 2003 (in no particular order) 1. Untitled--Four Flies 12" (4Lux CD-R/The Netherlands) 2.
