    3 Street Worlds....

Wooh this just might be the album of the year!!!

How would I describe it... well, it's got a classic vibe in the sense that the *songs* and *arrangements* (and to a lesser extent, the improv) not necessarily the programming, that gets ya...

Some of the vocals have that nerdy kind of 60's jazz large ensemble thing, the sound you usually only get to hear nowadays on the AM dial (in the US, anyways...) and i mean that in a good way!

Not only that, the lyrics are way, way above what you normally get, even in your usual broken beat nu jazz trax... (relax, unwind... places, spaces... ya know what i mean...)

I mean, we all love a cheesy lyric, but, there's some deeper stuff happening here...

Final story... I heard the song "Unclaimed" (track 7) on the Worldwide webcast from the BBC about 6 months ago. Heard it twice (u know how hard it is to rewind that stream!!!)

Loved it, forgot about it, heard it again when I bought the album, 6 months later, and immediately started singing along.... These songs get INSIDE of ya!!!

    Pick it UP!!!
