I used EZCD with NT4, after upgrading to W2K I installed EZCD which caused
my PC to blue screen on reboot.Aparrently EZCD replaces the ASPI layer which
windows uses to talk to (scsi) hardware.
something similar may have happened with your machine - if the machine can't
see the drive then wavelab won't be able to write to it.
In the end I used nero as burning software, which I have found to be fine.
