indeed, the scandinavians are taking over!

here is my small list of recomendations:

Bugge Wesseltoft and his label Jazzland with artists like Wibutee (albums
"Newborn Thing" and "Eight Domestic Challenges"), Beady Belle and others
    Bobby Hughes Combination
Swell Session (their remix production is brilliant as well!)
Hird - "Keep Me Hird/ Keep You Kimi" is a current favourite with everyone i
    beleive
also check Alan Brown's "Destination:Out" compilation which has a whole
bunch of scandinavian artists like Plej, Jong Tan, G-Litter and others
    much respect to Hollow recordings!

    peace,

    ilya

    Hey,

Im new to mailing list. Im a big fan of the nu jazz movement, esp. the scene
in scandinavia (nuspirit helsinki, jaga jazzist, koop, etc.). I was
wondering if anyone knows any artists with a similar sound. Thanks,
    Mamoru

    P.S. Anybody representin Philly?
