after a month (feb) that some might consider a bit rough, the mga says "we

the all-indpendent mga is now, personnel wise, one of the hottest jazzfunk
ensembles in
town and we have 2 dates for you in March...
Tuesday, March 18th.... Bounce Rock & Skate.... @ Boardner's... corner of
Cherokee and Hollywood Blvd.... One of the pre-eminent neo-soul / hip hop
nites in Hollywood, Bounce Rock Skate features great DJ's (Dusk, Wyatt Case,
Loslito and more) as well as fresh live acts. The outdoor patio is one of
the coziest comfiest places to see live music in all of LA...
Wednesday March 26th... Temple Bar... Wilshire and 11th, Santa Monica...
11:00 pm. You know the Temple Bar is the hottest spot in town; Wednesdays in
March is hip hop nite, and the MGA will hold it down with the final spot of

including Little Brother (March 1) Lone Catalysts (March 5) Jody Watley and
Kim Hill (March 8) also Naturez Dezign, Crown City Rockers (formerly

Website update! Thanks to the artistry of www.indepthperception.com, the MGA
web is starting to come together! Lots of new tracks are being assembled
(cuz that's what we do) and will be up shortly...
NEW MEMBER!!! The MGA is unbelievably honored to welcome bass player
extraordinaire LESLIE "LES" KING on board... Les is a monster of funk bass
and longtime musical partner of MGA drummer (and Modern Drummer mag's R&B
Drummer of the Year) Herman Matthews.... The new look MGA also features
yours truly on keys and beats, delicious Louis Taylor on the winds and extra
funky Stewart Killen on percussion, AND the sweetheart of Watts, Kelli
Stanton on vocals; PLUS, lots of new surprises twists and turns that will
