"Warfare is a great matter to a nation; it is the ground of death
and of life; it is the way of survival and of destruction, and
must be examined. Therefore, go through it by means of five
factors; compare them by means of calculation, and determine
their statuses: One, Way, two, Heaven, three, Ground, four,
General, five, Law." - from "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu

Music lovers and beat freaks!
Welcome to the first Sun|Tzu Sound newsletter.
Created at the end of 2002, Sun|Tzu Sound is a group of djs, producers,
and
promoters dedicated to "The Art of the Beat". We have come together
to promote the future sounds of broken beats, neo-soul, downtempo
grooves
and all things jazzy and good, as well as pay homage to the originators of
funk, soul and jazz.
Sun|Tzu Sound is comprised of the following 5 factors:
AC LEWIS : DJ/Producer/Promoter (Seattle, WA USA)
ATLEE : DJ/Producer/Promoter (Seattle, WA USA)
DR. J. : DJ/Producer/Promoter (Vancouver, BC Canada)
J-Justice : DJ/Promoter/Designer (Seattle, WA USA)
Michael Greenleaf : Producer/Promoter (Seattle, WA USA)
Finally, much love and respect go to Orin and Daz from Bugz in the Attic,
Alex, Jürgen, and Daniel from Jazzanova/SonarKollectiv and Magnus from
Koop.
For it was after spending quality time with these fine artists in September
of last year, that we decided to band together and fight the good fight.
