STYLIN - Rare grooves, hi-tech jazz and other worldly fusions
Friday afternoons 12-2pm RRR 102.7FM, Melbourne
Live online - http://www.rrr.org.au/index2.html (see below for times)

    Hello all

Many thanks to DJ Selekt for last week's guest mix. It was perhaps the
shortest Stylin mix with the longest tracklisting - those hands were moving
quickly. He's still young but has turntable skills serious enough to place
him 8th in the world DMC championships and an appreciation of soulful music
which goes beyond battle records and party hip hop. If you're in Melbourne,
you can check him out each Wednesday at Honkytonks alongside Action Direkt.

Speaking of Honkytonks, Kano and I are back with Open Sesame tonight. Thanks
to all who made New Year's Eve there such a great night. Next week we'll
have a special guest set from Huw from latin/beats/hip hop London record
    store Mr Bongo.

Guesting on tomorrow's Stylin will be Daniel Magg, who is set to release his
solo album on Compost in the coming months. Look forward to cuts from that
album as well as new remixes, plus extra treats from Daniel's record bag.
He'll be spinning at Revolver tomorrow night too.

    until then
    Ennio Styles
