scene. Check it out at www.highergroundradio.com. The show will be up
later today. On the party front DJ Stu and I are very happy to kick off
our weekly “Soul Night!” this Saturday at Fressen(478 Queen St W). Join
us for a night of funk, soul, raregrooves etc. Cover is only 3
dollars. Movement is happening once again next Friday July 25th at Roxy
Blu(12 Brant St). Tickets are 8 dollars and available at all the
regular spots. Remember, Movement happens on the last Friday of every
month. On the jazz dance tip, join DJ Stu, Jon Sickich, myself and
guest DJ General Eclectic on Saturday August 2nd for Footprints at The
Rivoli(332 Queen St West). A night dedicated to our underground scene
of jazz, afro cuban, funk etc. Until next week, keep your feet firmly
planted on that Higher Ground! JP
