Hello all,
Sorry this week's guide is late, but there's still 13 days of loveliness to
peruse...
For anyone who missed the last communique, the Guide is now bi-weekly,
so you might want to check the guides on the site in the second week to be
certain you're not missing anything kept quiet up to now. And my
ramblings/editorializing are now situated after the listings for
practicality purposes‹but please do scroll down for the Liquidator opinion
(as anyone who knows me knows that I sure as hell have plenty‹occasionally
insightful I'm told.)
Respectfully,
Brian Baltin

No time for editorializing this week, I may repost with my ramblings in the
next day or so, suffice it to say that the next ten days in Los Angeles are
lovely! Danny Krivit, Four Tet, Nicola Conte, followed by my house god for
the UK, Pete Heller, Erick Morillo, and one of the world's loveliest men,
Jason Swinscoe, and his mighty Cinematic Orchestra. Damn!!!!!!!
And anyone in London needs to go see the mightiest woman in the history
of creation, Shirley Bassey. Along with much brilliance at Lee Perry's
Meltdown festival at Royal Festival Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall.
Psychotropically eclectic lineup.
Saw the man Eddie Palmieri last week. Brilliant as always, and sitting
two seats from me was David Sanchez. Hope to add a full breakdown of the gig
soon...
Respectfully,
Brian Baltin
