Some amazing charts and playlists here folks! We had two special guest Djs
last month. First, Dj Agge showed us how every other track can originate
from Brasil even though the style may have varied from bossa to funk and
samba to soul and all happily under the jazz umbrella. August’s character,
record collection and the taste in music are respectable and just fitted
for the Wahoo! floor. Check his chart down below! Second, Dj Felix
(Sunshine Records, Club Soul Seed, Turku, FIN) was in his own league with
the 45s he has – incredible, fast rolling soul keeping the crowds happy and
dancing their shoes off. We'll get his Wahoo! top 10 chart next time.
Of the resident front, Jussi has compiled you a nice list of Blue Note
originals that you can often catch at Wahoo! I myself have listed picks
from along the way from the early hours to the hard batucada climax of the
latest evening. Vesa thinks the tracks in his chart were fancied especially
among the gals at Wahoo! in May. Down below you’ll find again the
classic ‘Left of Helsinki’ chart of course. Top quality stuff there I’d
say.
