    Here's my contribution:

    Jimi Hendrix "Machine Gun"
Jimi Hendrix via Bob Dylan "All along the Watchtower"
David Bowie "This is not America" which is mentioned below.
David Bowie and Trent Reznor "I'm afraid of Americans"
Bruce Cockgburn "If I had a Rocket Launcher"
Black Sabbath "War Pigs" -The BenchMark!!!, the Standardbearer!!! and it all
due to Geezer Butler, Bill Ward, Ozzy Osbourne and Tony Iommi. For me it is
Hendrix's "Machine Gun" and Sabbath's "War Pigs". I know my roots and they
    germinate from 6 strings.
Corrosion of Conformity "Vote with a Bullet" could this be the theme song
for Nov 2004? "Rally around the Family with a Pocket full of Shells"....
but I digress. "Isn't Ironic?, Don't cha think?..."
