Sorry that I missed last Wednesday night at LIT but I'm back there tonight!
Since last week I've been to San Francisco to DJ a premiere party for the HBO
show Six Feet Under, I DJed a party for the Broadway Premiere of a production
called Take Me Out, and last night I DJed an event for YM Magazine and MTV
that featured a band called the Donnas.
My getting those gigs are the result of versatility, skill, and talent...some
things that should be required of anyone that's worth your efforts to go out
and hear...all the more reason for you to check out my and James Spooner's
Wednesday night DJ sets at LIT. The details...
Wednesdays
Lit (in the bassment) / 93 2nd Avenue
11pm / no cover aka free
This is my new and very steady weekly gig. I've been looking for a venue
that was into my vibe and I've found it. Lit's bassment is as raw and
minimal as it gets with exposed brick walls, a straightforward bar and it's
plentiful sound system. Anyone who loved my Ludlow Bar party will love my
and James Spooner's new night in Lit's bassment.
