Tonight March 26th and Every Wednesday
    LIT (in the bassment)
    93 2nd Avenue
Live Music at 9pm with cover of $3-$5
11pm DJ sets start / no cover
This is my new and very steady weekly gig.   I've been looking for a venue
that was into my vibe and I've found it.   Lit's bassment is as raw and
minimal as it gets with exposed brick walls, a straightforward bar and it's
plentiful sound system.   Anyone who loved my Ludlow Bar party will love my
and James Spooner's new night in Lit's bassment.

Thursday Night March 27th (guest appearance)
    GUERNICA
    25 Avenue B (b'tw 2nd & 3rd Street)
Gracing The Decks with the Exquisitely Talented DJ Selly playing for my
favorite dancers in the city.   Expect a memorable blur of roots, culture, &
soul.  Truly underneath the surface for your eyes & your ears.

Friday Night March 28th (guest appearance)
    Morgan's Bar (Morgan Hotel)
    237 Madison Ave Between 37th Street & 38th Street
Jumping into the rotation of eclectic DJs who are infusing a little
unpredictability into Friday night at this exclusive hotel bar.  Expect the
best of both worlds…the music that the people want to hear mixed up with the
eclectic treats that I'm known to offer.

Saturday Night March 29th and Every Saturday
    Bar 6 / 502 6th Avenue (b'twn 12th & 13th Street) / 10pm-2am
Sometimes the best part of life is going home.  Back to where my New York
City DJ career began.  Sorry, not a club, but a room with the smooth subtle
styling of a Paris café.  Beautiful and classic with a late night menu and a
seasoned crowd.  An effortless good time for you and yours.  This is a weekly
    session.

Also, a little news for you...

    Manchester (UK) Evening News
    Paul Mahoney
EXCITING TIMES: at Friends & Family
FRIENDS & Family is relocating to the Music Box on Friday night (March 21),
swapping the hallowed Roadhouse in favour of a bigger venue for a monster
    party.

They're going head-to-head with the Off Centre crew in London, then on
Saturday (March 22), they're coming home for the second leg of their
    North-South special.

The occasion? The return of the legendary Qool DJ Marv, back in the UK for
another New York City Sound Session. If you missed him last time round, then
now's your chance to see what all the fuss is about -- an exclusive,
three-hour set from one of New York's most notorious jocks.

"Everyone gets excited when Marv is in town," says DJ Woody, co-promoter of
    Friends & Family.

    The DJ’s DJ

"He's like the ultimate DJ's DJ - fantastic to stand and watch, but even
better to jump around to, cutting up everything from hip hop and funk, to
house, reggae, jazz and soul, right across the board.

"Accompanying him are MCs Niko and Kwasi, plus DJs Darren Laws (Fat City) and
DJ Aim (Grand Central), who are going to playing lots of old 12-inches from
    the early days."

THE FADER'S SUITE 903 SHOW TO AIR WEEKLY ON XM SATELLITE RADIO

The FADER's neo soul promo disc series, Suite 903, has secured one of XM
Satellite radio's coveted urban programming slots.

The Suite 903 show, which features exclusive and rare DJ mixes of artists
ranging from Mos Def and Heather Headley to Ms Dynamite and Eric Roberson,
airs weekly from 9-11 PM on Friday and 11PM-1AM on Saturday night on the XM61
