It’s going to be a great couple of months! First of all I want to thank
everyone who came down to Movement last Friday night. Another smoking
party! The next party is the last Friday in May. Dj Stu and myself are
also throwing a soul night on June 7th at Fressen on Queen St. All
kinds of soul from boogie, modern, two step etc, new and old. More info
to come. Also Footprints will return after a short hiatus on the 28th
of June at the Rivoli. The usual jazz dance, funk and afrocuban
mayhem! Also, don’t forget about the weekly Higher Ground Sessions at
Alto Basso(718 College) every Wednesday night with myself and DJ Stu.
Always free and always fun. Highergroundradio.com will be up very soon,
featuring archived shows, guest mixes, and all types of info on the
Toronto underground scene. Go there now and leave your email address
and we’ll let you know when it’s ready. Until next week, keep your
feet firmly planted on that Higher Ground! JP
