STYLIN - Rare grooves, hi-tech jazz and other worldly fusions
Friday afternoons 12-2pm RRR 102.7FM, Melbourne
Live online - http://www.rrr.org.au/index2.html (see below for times)
Hello all
It all came together rather last minute, but it was good to get Fat Freddy's
Drop into the studio last Friday. This is the NZ dub-soul collective that
has spawned the Fitchie & Joe Dukie hit "Midnight Marauders" which was
licensed to Jazzanova's Sonar Kollektiv label in Berlin. I couldn't make it
to their gigs supporting Salmonella Dub, so anyone who went along, don't rub
it in! Lookout for their another single "This Room" on Sonar Kollektiv as
well as a 10" of "Bluey" and "Hope" through London's Vinyl Junkies.

This week will finally be the airing of a wonderful mix from Austria's Tom
Wieland (Les Gammas, Panoptikum, Difusora), which has waited paitently while
a variety of visitors to Melbourne have swung through the Stylin doors.
until then
