This week at 10pm on 89.9 WJCT NightFlight Takes off to the world of Film Noir.
We help get you in the mood for the first Jacksonville International Film Festival (May 15 - 18) with a trip to the Dark Side
complete with dialog from Bogart/Bacall from The Big Sleep, Bogart and Astor from The Maltese Falcon, The Asphalt Jungle, Dick
Powell from Murder My Sweet and Lawerence Tierney from Born To Kill and Music and dialog from Blade Runner. The entire program
is either music from film noir, or music that makes you think of film noir, The selections feature a 'saxophone-in-the-dark'
feel, and makes you think of smoky night clubs, high heels tapping on wet streets, pockets bulging with guns - all the elements
of the genre. I hope you'll join us Saturday at 10pm on 89.9
Thank you to all who pledged their dollars last week on our membership drive program.
