A mad show last week! Big up to everyone who came down and made it such
a party atmosphere. Nice to feel the love in the studio! Also major
big up to King Sunshine and everyone who came down and heard some
excellent music at the Reverb on Friday night. Go out and get their
CD. Lots of parties coming up including a special soul night with
myself and DJ Stu at Fressen the first week of June. Also don’t forget
that Movement happens the last Friday of every month at Roxy Blu
featuring the city’s best mix of jazz, funk, latin, soul etc with DJs
Aki, Nav, John Kong and myself. Look out for some serious special
guests in months to come. For your midweek fix, check out DJ Stu and
myself at Alto Basso(718 College St) every Wednesday for the Higher
Ground Sessions. Always free and always the best music. The Higher
Ground website is under construction and should be ready in the next
couple of weeks. Go to www.highergroundradio.com and leave your email
and we’ll let you know when it’s up. Until next week, keep your feet
firmly planted on that Higher Ground! JP
