My guess would be K-OS "Superstarr". That's the only track in recent memory
that has a rapper ontop of SOHO. The 12" is promo only from the UK. There
are sound samples from his album (out on Astralwerks here in the States)
on-line so you can double check if that's the cut--if it is we have a couple
copies left of the UK promo in stock.

Subject: [acid-jazz] Track ID
Peace Y'all,
I was wondering if u can help me ID a hip hop track I just saw on Video
Music Box: the instrumental is Soho (aka pal joey) 's "Hot Music" with a
bugged out dude rhyming some abstract flow and a chorus "You can change
the world" ... video has some pretty dope breakdancers and nice edits of
him riding on top of a car with a megaphone .
? any ideas ? it's pretty fresh. Is there a 12 " ?
