    But since there's only 5 issues a year buying at the new stand costs about
    $60 (5 x 12) or less (We sell SNC for $9 an issue mail order) which is close
    to the cost of a subscription here in America (about $52 at today's exchange
    rate). So it's not quite as bad $144 a year.

    It is. £30 overseas. £20 in europe. (1 year, 5 issues)
