It's crunch time for me at the moment, and I haven't had a chance to
finish up the full-on circular for the week. Look for it sometime next week.

In the meantime, as promised, I've whipped up a new show that you can
now listen to online. Due to the holiday weekend, there'll be no live
broadcast of Urban Landscapes this week (I'm actually heading out of
town, but a bit behind...hence, the scaled-back circular).

Among the goodies you can hear in the special show is a new 12" from
TALK on Perfect Toy, music from the forthcoming album by Gerardo Frisina
on Schema, choice music from several new compilations including
Compost's "I Like It, Volume 1" album focusing on four tastemakers--each
choosing four of their favorite tracks from any genre, and Do Right's
"Required Listening," an excellent album of Toronto-based artists
compiled by label head John Kong...and more!

There's also this week's Urban Landscapes Guestmix to throw in, as well.
This one comes from the label head of Versatile Records in Paris, Gilb'r
(and also half of the duo Chateau Flight). He also does a radio show
there, and the mix in question was one that he performed on his
broadcast. A half-hour of choice music from Gilb'r...check it out!

For the full playlist, be sure to check it online at
http://www.urbanlandscapesshow.com. You can also find the playlist for
last week's show (including the exclusive Urban Landscapes Guestmix from
4Lux's Gerd & co-hort DJ Pathless), which is also online for listening.
Both playlists will be listed in its entirety in next week's circular.

Next week's broadcast will include the Urban Landscapes Guestmix for the
week, the last of this year (I really mean it this time) from Chris
Franck & Patrick Forge, the production team known as Da Lata.

Meanwhile, have a safe holiday weekend if you are in the states; for the
rest of the world, have a great weekend and catch you on the other side!
