Sorry, forgot to add that I saw Alison on the first Sylk tour and her voice
sounds even MUCH more beautiful live. If you ever get a chance to see her in
Philly or elsewhere, don¹t be a fool. Seeing her live put her at the top of
my pantheon of soul girls (with Jill S., Maysa Leak, Shara Nelson, Julie
Dexter, Angela Johnson, Alice Russell, Adriana Evans if she ever does
resurface, Carleen Anderson, and to a much lesser degree in terms of vocal
skill (but obviously I still love Œem) Dee C. Lee and Valerie Etienne).
