Even though it's been out for a while now, I still can't stop listening to
Future Sounds of Jazz 9 on Compost. "Keep you Kimi" (Hird/Yukimi Nagano) and
"Leave Me Now" (Stateless) are hopelessly bittersweet and kept my eyes for
weeks. Some of jams that were exclusive to the comp are trickling out on single
now, like "Juice" which I think is so clean and clever. It's a damn good comp.
Between that, the Zero DB Reconstruction project, and the Stateless, Rima and
P'Taah full lengths, oh and of course the latest Gilles Worldwide comp, my
janky, faithful little Corolla was rockin' all summer. The ghetto-fab Aztec
seat covers definitely helped though. =)
