It is out, but I believe Omoa has some serious distribution issues. I
know 500 or so copies made it out, some to Groove Dis, but I think
    they've all been snapped up.
Speaking of Ayro, I was blessed to catch his set closing the outdoor
part of last weekend's Candela Festival in old San Juan, Puerto Rico.
It was absolutely mind-blowing! Akai should hire him as a spokesman
for what he can do with an MPC live. Pretty awesome to see him pack
the outdoor plaza and have the likes of John Beltran, John Arnold,
Afronaught, DJ Valida, Dixon, Georg Levin, and more shaking their heads
in wonder as he did his thing. As Afronaught said the next day, "The
days of the DJ are fucking numbered!"
Other highlights of a very special weekend were absolutely wicked DJ
sets from Amalgama's Juan Rojas' and Max, a top-notch live set from
Local 12 with Millo on guitar, Osunlade playing one of his last DJ gigs
ever, the incredible hospitality of Ramon Nieves, and the vision of
organizer Pablo Rodrigues. Toss in a gallery installation with Swifty,
Mitch Bwoy, and Mode 2 celebrating 15 years of Straight No Chaser, plus
live painting on the plaza stage from HVW8 and Doze Green, and we were
treated to a weekend that won't soon be forgotten.

    Watch out for:
Juan 'Chucki' (sp?) Rojas -- Every time somebody dropped a slammin'
bit of broken beat that was new to me, it seemed to be one of his
joints on CD-R. Keep an eye out for a Mark de Clive Lowe re-rub that
should be massive if it ever sees proper distribution.

Local 12 -- With a solid live show fusing electronics and the rhythms
of three Puerto Rican percussionists, these guys deserve a deal. Look
for a collaboration with John Beltran on his upcoming album.

Too Many Bugz in Candela: proposed collaboration between Bugz in the
Attic and Puerto Rican musicians organized by Pablo Rodriques and
    Afronaught. can't wait!

enough spreading the gospel - watch out for the next Candela happening
    (possibly pre-WMC?) and don't sleep!

    peace,
    Peter
