A quieter summer than usual has led a flurry of activity as Autumn kicks into full swing - Top of the chart (see below) this month is the wicked Jazznova mix of Nu Spirit Helsinki's "Honest" - due for release on Sonar Kollektiv shortly - a must have - believe me its the business. Nu Spirit Helsinki have, themselves, been on the remix for Astor Piazzola track Verano Perteno - out on Milan Records. The Kyoto Jazz Massive U.K came and went during October - with success at all the individual tour dates as usual - Yoshihiro Okino's label, Especial Records releases its latest 12" by Bakura, with new style Domu mix as well. Kyoto Jazz Massive have also done a re-rub for old Talkin' Loud favourites Incognito and one of their new tracks "Where Love Shines" (Pony Canyon).... Staying in West London (or not as the case may be) Bugz in the Attic and the Bitasweet Records camp produce a mix CD for latest instalment of Fabric Live series - in record stores worldwide as we speak. at work putting the finishing touches the highly anticipated Bugz in the Attic full L.P - blimey!!...Best Kept Secret artists have seen a lot of action going on with Compost this month as well. Alex Attias and Swell Sessions have provided top notch remixes for the first volume of the Ennio Morricone remix project and Nicola Conte, who will be in the U.K in December, appears alongside Madrid de los Austrias vs Richard Dorfmeister, DJ Patife and Rima (geez that Domu boy is busy..) on the Waltz for Koop remixes. This Monday (3rd Nov) will see the release of Sidewinder's album Resolutions on Glasgow based Fenetik. After the singles "Ego Riot" and "Less Than Effortless" with excellent Soul Patrol and Tom Churchill mixes.. I urge you to purchase a copy of this great piece of work - plus you will never meet a nicer and harder working man, so he deserves it!! Sidewinder will also feature on the BBC Radio 1 program "One World Live" on Thursday 6th November from midnight - 2.am - so!

Fractures Remixed will be released in early 2004 as well plus a full new album ready for early summer 2004 as well. Finally... Ben Mitchell in his Sao Benitez guise releases "Elemental E.P" Volumes 1 & 2 (Mr Bongo) with excellent percussive latin tracks on both outings - in the shops this month....
