That's our man Frank McComb from here in LA, an f.m.g.a (friend of
mga...)
Frank is the bomb musician in every way... not only does he have Donnie
Hathaway vocal chops, but he plays the piano like Herbie Hancock...
seriously!
Our girl Sy Smith did dates with Frank in Amsterdam and at the Jazz Café
in London recently. Frank's first big exposure came w. Buckshot Lefonque
(Branford Marsalis' funk group.) He's also on "Download This" the first
New Sector Movements album. He has 2 solo releases out, the second one
being produced by the same cats who produced Donnie's "The Colored
Section" (Steve Harvey et. al...)
Why Frank hasn't gotten more play in the music biz would be beyond me...
if I didn't know so much about the music biz!!! He is HOT!!!
