This week brings us a guest mix from DJ Verb (First Floor Brothers, Citrona
Records)
Nate Vanek, 1/2 of The First Floor Brothers and better known as DJ Verb,
has been spinning hip-hop, downtempo, funk, and rare-groove since 1996 at
various spots around Chicago. With his finger on the pulse of the new and
in the crates of the old, Verb keeps the First Floor Brothers sound fresh
and funky. The blood brothers Nate & Seth Vanek, joined Citrona Recordings
at the conception of the label with the critically acclaimed self titled
debut "The First Floor Brothers" featuring an exclusive Thunderball (aka
Fort Knox Five) rework of the song "Fashionably Late."
Also on the broadcast, some new tunes from Gerardo Frisina, Nicola Conte
