LATEST RELEASE NEWS & GOSSIP (Don’t forget ... It’s a secret..)
Straight in at the top – lets start with the AA – Alex Attias that is. His Mustang project is finished and delivered – label, release schedule and all the other bits and bobs available in next months letter – suffice to say it will be released this year. Joseph Malik’s new album “Aquarius Songs” is an absolute triumph – old sparring partners David “Demus” Donnelly and Grand Unified also feature heavily on this well thought out collection – June seems to be the date still be talked about.
The Jazzanova remix of Nu Spirit Helsinki’s “Honestly” – (BKS No.1 track of 2003) is finally, finally hitting the shelves – hooray – via Sonar Kollektiv – in June – 100% broken acid dynamite. Bluprint have completed a wedge of tracks for a new, 2nd album (for release in October) for Exceptional Records. A single will be released in late July as well – first glimpses show huge promise and good quality.
Over the Atlantic – Drumagick’s album hits the shelves in Brazil as plans are being made for a release in Europe – more tour dates coming for November. Elsewhere, there are some very special plans to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Kyoto Jazz Massive’s label Especial Records later this year – more about that over the summer.
We also want to say we like the Britney Spears track “Toxic” – its rude…
