If your looking for some great parties to attend this weekend, look no
further! First of all this Friday night check out the return of Movement
at Roxy Blu(12 Brant St). Join Aki, Nav, John Kong and myself for a fun
filled night of good music and good people. The first 5 people to email
back with “Movement” in the subject line will get themselves and a guest
in free! On Saturday night Footprints returns for another smoking night
of jazz, funk, latin and brasilian boogie at the Rivoli(332 Queen St
west). This month along with resident DJ Stu, General Eclectic and
myself we welcome a very special performance by the excellent percussion
group Maracatu Nunca Antes. It’s 5 dollars before 11:30, but the first 5
people to email back with “Footprints” in the subject line will get
themselves and a guest in free! Until next week, keep your feet firmly
planted on that Higher Ground! JP
