Howdy!
I've been on this list for forever ( since 1995), and I'm FINALLY
taking a crack at DJing. I'll be streaming live from our brand new
online radio station at the University of The Arts in PHILLY where I
teach at. I'd love it if you could listen tomorrow FRIDAY 12/10 at 11AM
until noon (Eastern Standard Time). There will be a chat available at
the same time so you can talk to me if you'd like. It would be great to
have some support from all of you veterans. At the very least, you'll
probably get a big laugh at all the mistakes I'll definitely be making
:)
It'll be all over the place (how I like it) - a mix of electronic to
r'n b to afro cuban to hip hop to drum n bass to heavy metal to jazz.

The live stream starts at 11AM.
I miss the end of the year lists like we used to do. I'm sure I've
missed a lot of stuff this year, and would love to hear everyone's top
albums/songs.
So here goes in no particular order:
Top albums for me:
1. Umod - Enter the Umod
2. Wagon Christ - Sorry I made you Lush
3. Savath and Savalas - Folk songs for trains, trees, and honey
(I know this is old, but I just heard about this guy (Scott
Heron/Prefuse73/Delarosa, etc.) this year, and I'm an immediate fan.)
4. Van Hunt - Van Hunt
5. Clara Hill - Restless Times (really, really great production. anyone
could be singing and it would sound good.)
6. Hospital Mix volume 3 mixed by Nu:Tone
7. Musiq Soulchild - Soulstar
8. Ryuichi Sakamoto - Chasm
9. Lewis Taylor - Stone Part II (even though the production of the
sound is a bit thin, his voice is still amazing to me)
Top songs for me:
1. Stereotyp - Stand Up
2. Wahoo - Make 'em Shake it
3. Golden - Jill Scott
4. Jamie Cullum - Frontin'
-De Angela AKA Polished Solid
