I must admit I haven't really gotten into 2004 just yet. Not fully anyway. I'm
still trying to catch up with 2003. Talk about a busy busy year. So many
releases I haven't had the time to listen to yet.

Anyways, a few 2004 releases does stick out. Amp Fiddler, the Candi Staton
compilation, the Raw Fusion collection (with promising stuff from A Bossa
Eletrica and Damn! amongst others). Not to impressed by the Joss STone CD,
someone called it nice and that pretty much sums it up. Nice, but not special.

    On the shopping list:
    Dani Siciliano "Likes"
    Franz Ferdinand "s/t"
    V/A "Trojan Sisters Box Set"

This is what I carry around in my CD Case and player at the moment:

    1. Candi Staton "Candi Staton" (Honest Jon's)
    2. Candi Staton "Stand Up and Be a Witness" (Magnum Music Group)
    3. Aretha Franklin "Spirit in the Dark" (Atlantic)
    4. Meshell N'Degeocello "Comfort Woman" (Maverick)
    5. Amp Fiddler "Waltz of a Ghetto Fly" (Genuine)
    6. Calvin Richardson "2:35 PM" (Hollywood)
    7. Isley Borthers "Body Kiss" (T-Neck/Dreamworks)
    8. Jan Lundgren Trio "Presents Miriam Aïda & Fredrik Kronkvist" (Sittel)
    9. V/A "Nobody Beats the Beats vol. 2" (Sonny B)
    10. cd-r collection "Sometimes Always"
    11. V/A "Rough Trade Shops Post Punk 01 - CD2" (Rough Trade)
    12. V/A "Inside Scandinavia" (Raw Fusion"

    In the player:
    Soundtrack "The Show" (Theologian)

    Cheers,
