Well, it’s going to be a very serious weekend of music starting this
Friday night at Roxy Blu(12 Brant st) for Movement. Join Aki, John Kong,
DJ Nav and myself as we play fine tunes and dance around like fools! The
first 3 people to mail back with “Movement Please!”in the header will
skip the 10 dollar cover charge. The following night join DJ Stu,
General Eclectic and myself for the next Footprints session at The
Rivoli(332 Queen St West). Along with playing the best jazz, funk, latin
and brasilian dancefloor business, we’ll be unveiling our brand new
Footprints mixed CD. The first 3 people to email back with “Footprints
Please!”in the header will get themselves and a guest in free. Looking
forward, Movement is definitely making moves in March and April. First
off we have the Movement premiere of legendary jazz DJ Gilles Peterson
for an exclusive Worldwide session on March 12th. Then, 2 Movements back
to back starting with Seiji from Bugz In The Attic on March 26th, and
Nicola Conte from Schema records in Italy on April 2nd. Tickets for
these parties will be on sale soon. Check www.highergroundradio.com
<http://www.highergroundradio.com/> for the flyers as they come. Until
next week, keep your feet firmly planted on that Higher Ground! JP
