Ok, I can't wait anymore!!!! I met this guy The Apple Juice kid a few weeks ago
in Durham, NC. He's a jazz drummer with hugely diverse tastes and a very strong
appreciation for electronics. He gave me a copy of his forthcoming cd Plus+ and
I can't stop listening to it. It's got a little of everything, heady mcing with
heavy instrumentation, a slow dub thing with an old Kemet Crew sample, lounge
trip hop in french, bits of turntablism throughout, even slightly
jeff-Buckley-esque vocals that i really like. I was going to wait to profile
him on my website and then publish the link, but there's plenty of time for that
