Greetings,
This evening I'll have the pleasure of sitting in for Harry Duncan
once again and will take to the airwaves for a four-hour
extravaganza, beginning at 8pm PDT. For the first two hours, I'll be
sticking (more or less) to the format of Harry's "In The Soul
Kitchen" program, playing lots of jazz, soul and blues. Then at 10,
"FreeFall" will commence as per usual, with more of the latest and
greatest beats, rhythm and sounds from around the globe.
In tonight's ticket bag, are passes for 'DHOMONTMOS' - this
weekend's rare performance by Matmos, Francis Dhomont, Richard
Chartier and Jean-Francois Denis at the Recombinant Labs Compound,
Friday and Saturday night - two evenings of surround audio/visual
stimulation that should not be missed. For information and
directions, go to www.asphodel.com, then listen for your chance to
win.
I hope you'll tune in!
Ciao for now,
David
