STYLIN - Rare grooves, hi-tech jazz and other worldly fusions
Friday afternoons 12-2pm RRR 102.7FM, Melbourne
Live online - http://www.rrr.org.au/index2.htm (see below for times)

    Hello all

Unfortunately the house of Styles has been alive more with the sound of
coughing than the sound of music this week, so my apologies for this late
playlist which is now from 2 Fridays ago. You'll get last weeks one in a few
minutes to make up for it.

If you had caught that show, you would have heard Sydney's Electric Monkeys
joining me, also known as Liz Ether and DJ Regal. Regal formed the Bronx
Dogs (in the UK, of course) with Richard Sen back in the mid-90s and should
take some credit for the "lessons" hip hop cut n paste revival that's been
going on the last few years. Since leaving the UK, Regal has settled in
Sydney where he DJs and hosts the Musiquarium show with Liz on Bondi FM,
Monday nights. They both seem to love Melbourne, so after their next stint
in the UK, who knows? ...

    until then
    Ennio Styles
