FRANK'S LOUNGE 660 FULTON STREET, BROOKLYN
Doors: 8PM
Cover: $10
Do yall think I'm kidding around?
Are you a skeptic?
Do you think I am saying this because SonnyBoy is a longtime member and
supporter of Soul-Patrol.
Guess again...
SonnyBoy played Franks in Oct/06 and here is a review written by Selah Eric
Spruiell from that show...
------------------------------------
Ladies and gentlemen, we had church up in there.
I can't tell you what songs he did, a few from the new album, a few from
his last one, but this show had a spiritual, almost religious aspect to it.
You know something's up when grown women start screaming (and moaning.)
Think Sly meets Curtis Mayfield, meets Al Green, meets, Marvin Gaye, meets
Hendrix.
At one point, Sheldon, a Brooklyn resident, said that playing Frank's was
a dream come through, that he always wanted to play Franks Lounge.
------------------------------------
Do you have TEN BUCKS
Are you willing to spend it for just a little salvation???
Doesn't you S-O-U-L deserve it?
The descion is yours, all I can do is present you with the information.
It's up to YOU to...
