Hola,
For tonight's show, I was having difficulty deciding whether to run
DJ Food & Strictly Kev's amazing 60-minute mash-up ("Raiding The 20th
Century") that's currently making the rounds of select Bit Torrent
sites, or devote the program to the wealth of new material that's
stacked up on my desk. The new tunes won, but fear not - I'll run the
mix next week instead. Ninja Tune is making it freely available to
whomever wants it, but demand has been overwhelming and they've had
to temporarily remove it from their site.
As for the music, you can expect new albums from Amon Tobin, M.I.A.,
Yukihiro Fukutomi, De Vibroluxe, Thievery Corporation (featuring
guest vocals from David Byrne, Flaming Lips, Perry Farrell and
others), A Guy Called Gerald, Jazztronik and Laurent Garnier. We also
have some fine remixed singles from Prefuse 73, Fertile Ground and
Jukka Eskola to tickle your auditory nerves, so I hope you'll tune in
and enjoy the ride!
Until next week....ciao for now,
David
