picked up this 12 off sweden's GAMM label recently,
and it's fantastic!
the mysterious 7 samurai is behind this rework of
marvin gaye's 'i want you' and an unreleased stevie
wonder cut.
while the stevie one is a solid, lazy jazz affair --
it's the marvin flip has me so hyped for more from 7
samurai.
they went and addded some live instrumentation to the
tune and turned it into a shuffling, bossa winner.
anyone know anything about 7 samurai. knowing the
gamm boys, it's probably freddie cruger under a
different guise or something! :)
